In response to concerns from membership regarding the conflicting dates of the 2004 USA Boxing Annual Meeting and the 2004 World Military Boxing Championships, I'm happy to report that the dates for the 2004 Annual Meeting have been changed to October 13-16, 2004. The location will still be the Adams Mark Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Given that the United States is hosting the 2004 World Military Boxing Championships, many of our delegates and committee chairpersons would have not been available for the annual meeting. It is important that all interested delegates be able to attend the annual meeting and still be able to support the 2004 World Military Boxing Championships.
Thanks to the efforts of the Membership Department, the National Office was able to negotiate the change of dates this week, after originally being turned down in late 2003.
