What is your current job or school: I serve as the Director of Business Development and Co-Partner for The Phoenix Group, New York, NY.Fordham University graduate, Class of 2005
Major boxing competitions you have participated in: Just local bouts for now, but I am training to enter US Nationals, National Golden Gloves and National PAL’s next year.
What are your goals in your boxing career? I’d like to perfect all aspects of my game, including technique, speed and agility. Develop a better understanding of, and study the science of the sport itself. I plan to advance through the rankings and with the guidance of my trainers I hope to progress into a more well rounded competition athlete.
What are your goals for the future outside of boxing? Actively pursue and achieve all goals I have set for myself. Continue to establish myself within the international business arena and maintain the upward momentum of my company and investments. Eventually attain my MBA.
What traits/qualities do you possess that will serve USA Boxing? I believe myself to be a tremendously ambitious, determined and competitive individual. I possess the leadership skills necessary to effect the positive change, which I feel and hope USA Boxing is looking for. As a female athlete, I have a passion for the game and look to help pain positive exposure for the sport of boxing and the organization itself.
Tell us why you want to represent all USA Boxing athletes and give us a few of your ideas on how to improve USA Boxing? I would like to help expand the men and women’s program of USA Boxing. There are many services we could begin to develop for the athletes such as sponsorship resources, fundraising, increased competition opportunities, both domestic and international, and a host of other beneficial athlete services for both the local LBC athletes and the elite athletes.
