USA Boxing is excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 2026 USA Boxing National Open. The event will mark USA Boxing’s fourth national event of 2026 and the third consecutive year the organization has hosted the National Open.

This year, USA Boxing’s National Open will be hosted at the Cleveland Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio, from Sept. 26 to Oct. 3.

Ohio is one of the premier boxing states in the country, with two of the top five winningest clubs from the 2025 USA Boxing national events. Team Cartel Elite Boxing finished No. 5 in the 2025 national club rankings after recording 35 wins across USA Boxing national tournaments, while Real Deal Boxing finished No. 2 for the second consecutive year with 59 wins.

Ohio also has a rich Olympic boxing history, as a boxer from the state has represented Team USA at seven consecutive Olympic Games, beginning with the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, when Ricardo Williams, Jr. and Dante Craig represented Team USA. A total of 14 Ohio boxers qualified during that seven-Games span, including Cleveland native Morelle McCane, who represented Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. McCane became the fifth consecutive Cleveland native to qualify for the Olympic Games and the first female boxer from Cleveland to earn an Olympic berth.

The 2026 USA Boxing National Open will be open to male and female athletes in the PeeWee, Bantam, Intermediate, Junior, Youth and Elite divisions. Online registration for the event is available HERE, and the registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 15, at midnight MT.

Check-in for the 2026 USA Boxing National Open will take place at the Cleveland Public Auditorium on Friday, Sept. 25, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and once again on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET. All boxers must be checked in by 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 26. The competition begins on Monday, Sept. 28, and carries through Saturday, Oct. 3.

Registration fees for boxers are set at $50. Registrations for officials and coaches will be free until Sept. 15. Late fees for coaches’ registrations will be $50 starting on Sept. 16. All coaches and officials must be registered before the event.

Cancellations for registrations at the 2026 USA Boxing National Open must be submitted by August 31. For the tournament fact sheet and all other pertinent tournament information, the 2026 USA Boxing National Open event page is linked HERE.
