Nine Coaches Earn USA Boxing Gold-Level Coaching Certifications

USA Boxing is excited to announce that over the weekend, nine coaches completed their Gold-level certifications while they were at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
This marked the fourth Gold-level Coaching Certification course hosted by USA Boxing. All nine coaches who completed USA Boxing’s Gold-level certifications passed with an 85-percent average or higher. The USA Boxing Gold-level Coaching Certification course is an application-based process with a maximum of nine coaches/participants allowed per course. Each course will offer education on international competition tactics, strength and conditioning, nutrition, injury prevention and maintenance, and more.
The cost of the clinic is $1,000/person, which includes housing and meals at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center. Selected coaches will be paired with another course attendee. Flights to Colorado Springs are not included and will be the responsibility of the registered participants/coaches.
To be eligible for the Gold-level Coaching Certification course, coaches must have completed the following prerequisites:
- USA Boxing Nutrition Certification
USADA Certification
USA Boxing Strength and Conditioning Certification
