The USA Boxing Elite High Performance Team is traveling to Guiyang City, China, for the World Boxing Cup: China 2026 tournament. This marks the third international event of 2026 for Team USA's Elite High Performance roster, and the Stars and Stripes will enter China after securing 10 medals across the previous two events. The United States will see 10 Elite High Performance boxers, four men and six women, hit the ring throughout the week-long World Boxing event, which is slated to begin on Monday, June 15.

Team USA will be represented by women’s 70-kilogram boxer Simona Winkler (Seattle, Wash.), who has secured two medals in the first two international events this year. Winkler earned bronze medals at both the World Boxing Cup: Brazil 2026 and the 77th International Boxing Strandja Tournament.

Also, looking to carry momentum from the World Boxing Cup: Brazil 2026 event on the women’s team is Noelle Haro (Austin, Texas). The 51-kilogram boxer made her international debut in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil, where she earned a bronze medal and secured her first international podium finish.

Representing the United States women’s roster in Guiyang City are two more 77th International Boxing Strandja Tournament bronze medalists, Yoseline Perez (Houston, Texas) and Naomi Graham (Colorado Springs, Colo.). Perez is coming off a dominant 2025 year, in which she earned a silver medal at the 2025 World Boxing Championships. As for Graham, she is a 2020 Tokyo Olympian and will look to earn her second medal in 2026. Rounding out the women’s team are Marie Rosendo (Deland, Fla.) and Deborah Grant (Fayetteville, N.C.).

Grant was elevated from the Elite High Performance Squad to compete in place of Alyssa Mendoza. Grant enters China after winning gold and the Best Female Boxer of the Tournament award at the 2026 Gee Bee Tournament in Helsinki, Finland, before adding a silver medal at the 2026 Copa America.

Moving on to the men’s team, the red, white, and blue will be led by team captain Salim Ellis-Bey (Philadelphia, Pa.). Ellis-Bey earned his first elite international medal at the World Boxing Cup: Brazil 2026, capturing silver after defeating Kyrgyzstan's Munarbek Seiitbek Uulu, a Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist.

Also earning a medal on the men’s team at the 77th International Boxing Strandja Tournament was Lorenzo Patricio (Waianae, Hawaii). The 55-kilogram boxer earned a silver medal in Bulgaria after earning four wins in his elite international tournament debut. Patricio won two international gold medals at the youth level and will seek his first elite international gold medal in China.

Rounding out the men’s team will be Marcus Luther (Washington, DC) and Kelvin Watts (Richmond, Va.). Luther and Watts have each earned multiple international wins in 2026 and will look for their first medal of the year at the World Boxing Cup: China 2026.

At the World Boxing Cup: China 2026, USA Boxing will be led by Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and assisted by National Development Coach Edward Fonteneaux (Fayetteville, N.C.) and Elite High Performance Coach Nikki Burleson (Oklahoma City, Okla.).
