Marley McNealy has been boxing for most of her life, and has emerged as one of Team USA's top rising stars.

The San Francisco, California, native started boxing in 2012 after her dad introduced her to the sport. Since then, McNealy has built an impressive résumé that includes four USA Boxing Junior Olympic titles, multiple national championships and a spot on USA Boxing’s Youth High Performance Team.

She made her international debut earlier this year in Thailand, and earned a bronze medal at the 2026 World Boxing Futures Cup.

When it comes to her boxing style, McNealy does not try to be like one specific boxer. Instead, she takes things from some of the best fighters in the sport and adds them to her own style.

“I compare myself to myself only because I do my own things,” stated McNealy. “I take a little bit of everything from all the greatest boxers and instill it into my boxing skills.”

Now, McNealy is ready for her next opportunity as she prepares to represent Team USA at the 2026 World Boxing U19 Championships in Budva, Montenegro.

For McNealy, competing at the U19 World Championships is not the end goal. She sees it as the beginning of what she hopes will be a long career in boxing, with another major goal already on her mind.

“Just the beginning of my journey because I have a lot more to come, like the 2028 Olympic Games,” stated McNealy.

After years of competing at the national level and gaining international experience earlier this year, McNealy is ready to make her mark and win her first international gold medal.

The 2026 World Boxing U19 Championships will take place in Budva, Montenegro, from October 14-28. For more information on the 2026 World Boxing U19 Championships, please click HERE.
