Lake Erie
President#
Winner by Acclamation (Ran unopposed)
I have been serving on the LEA Board for over 15 years. Serving as a Trustee, Vice President, and currently its President. I am also a Level 2 Referee and Judge. I have promoted USA Boxing Shows for over 10 years and also have managed the WBC World Heavyweight Champion, Vonda Ward during her career. I have a Business Degree from Akron University and hold numerous Fitness Certifications. Other than overseeing the day to day operations of the LEA, my main focus has been fund raising to ensure that our Athletes and Clubs have what they need to be successful. As a results of our efforts as a Board, we are in an excellent financial position and have a record number of registered Athletes and Boxing Clubs. If re-elected, I will continue our mission to not only secure current financial needs of our LBC but also for future generations. I considerate it honor to serve as your President and respectfully ask for your vote so I and the LEA Board can continue making our LBC the best in the land. Thank you.
Vice President#
I have been a part of USA boxing for 15 years, and in that time, I have coached several Golden Glove champions. I have also helped fighters make the transition from the amateur ranks to professional. I own Revolution Fight and Fitness, which offers several financial opportunities to the youth of the area when they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to train in the sport. My military background has taught me how to be a leader in the company of other leaders. I have worked with the Green Beret Foundation, which supports Green Berets and their families. At my event we partnered with the Cleveland Browns and Matchroom Boxing to hold an event that gave area boxers the opportunity to compete against one another with Browns players, such as Myles Garret and Wyatt Teller, as spectators. My understanding of the need for positive leadership helps the organization move forward and solidify a positive experience for the youth and adults in the sport to achieve their future goals.
I am the current Vice President and I truly love the sport of boxing. I donate thousands of my own personal money to our LBC and many of the gyms and of fighters in our LBc. I also coach, and have my own shows. I love impacting the members, and the community in a positive away and plan to do so even more in the future.
Secretary#
Winner by Acclamation (Ran unopposed)
I stumbled into the sport of boxing in 2012 in a serendipitous chain of events that would well exceed the character limit for our Personal Statement, but I will say this - it was love at first punch. I have volunteered as a judge with USA Boxing since 2016 and have served as Secretary for the Lake Erie Association since 2020. I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration and have held various professional positions including CFO, CEO, and Controller. I have also owned and ran my own business. I believe all sports organizations - including ours - should be ran and managed like a Fortune 500 company with full transparency and complete accountability while never losing sight of the reason they exist in the first place - the athletes.
