I have the experience with coaches and boxers to help develop a working relationship. I love boxing. I love to judge. I love to referee. This is an amazing sport we are all blessed to be involved with. Thanks, Lorriane 🥊
Thank you for supporting me as your next Vice President. I have served on the board of directors for the past 7 years as secretary, and for the past 3 years as secretary and acting Vice President. I wish to continue serving our athletes, coaches and officials in the next term as your VP. I believe that I represent the MI LBC in a competent manner and have been a positive advocate for our members.
I have been an official for 14 years, volunteering my time at the local, state and national levels. I am a Level III official, OIC (supervisor), and LBC Clinician in good standing. Chief of Officials#

Being an active USA Boxing official for seven plus years, participating in numerous tournaments both regionally and nationally, and now living in a different LBC than where I started; my desire to continue participating in, growing with, and giving back to the sport and athletes just keeps increasing. I see the need, everywhere, for not only the officials to be further educated and for training to be streamlined for consistency, but also for coaches and athletes to understand the rules of which their performance in the ring is being judged by. As well as to expand the understanding of safety of the boxer above all else.
I have also been a part of the Iron Range Betties, which is a volunteer group of ladies who utilize pin up culture to raise money and awareness for local clubs, as well as giving back to the community and helping those in need. Every year we gather donations and put together a free Thanksgiving meal for those who maybe are without family or cannot get around well, or have jobs they have to work during a holiday, such as ER staff, EMT crews and local Firehouses.
At work I am in a managerial role and part of what that entails is that I help to remotely train new employees or help train current ones on upskilling their roles within the company.
I am currently a level III official, clinician, and OIC. I consistently study both R/J and National rulebooks, along with helping with study groups for officials to attain the highest level of officiating.
A quote, by JFK, states, "Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other." I think this epitomizes the position of the COO. Not only are you constantly learning all the rules and changes of them, along with the interpretations of them, but you also have to have the ability to impart this knowledge out to those you lead.
