by USA Boxing
The final day of tournament contention is complete at the 2026 USA Boxing Women’s Championships at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo. Saturday’s action featured 32 bouts, 26 of which were championship bouts.
Of the 26 championship bouts contested on Saturday’s schedule, there were champions determined across seven divisions. In addition to the championship bouts, six matched bouts were contested to provide additional competition opportunities for the boxers in attendance.
The conclusion of Saturday’s action ties a bow on the third iteration of the USA Boxing Women’s Championships. Before Friday and Saturday’s tournament competition, USA Boxing organized a day of festivities for tournament participants on Thursday, beginning with a group hike at the historic Garden of the Gods National Landmark in Colorado Springs. Tournament participants were then provided workouts by the USA Boxing High Performance coaching staff. To conclude Thursday’s schedule, a mitt competition was held for boxers to showcase their technical skills alongside their coaches.
Winners of the mitt competition include Kamila Velazquez in the 8-12 age group, Itzel Rojaz in the 13-16 age group and Gianna Marcantonio in the 17+ age group. Boxers who won the mitt competition received a pair of Sting Sports training gloves, while their coaches received a pair of Sting Sports hand mitts.
To close out the weekend, USA Boxing will host a gala for all tournament attendees inside the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Saturday evening. Boxers, coaches, officials and tournament administrators will be celebrated for their participation in the 2026 USA Boxing Women’s Championships. The Most Outstanding Boxers of the tournament will also be announced during the Gala event.
