by USA Boxing

Two-time Olympic champion Claressa Shields is making history again and she would love for your support. Shields will be headlining her own pay-per-view on March 5 against Marie-Eve Dicaire for the undisputed super welterweight championship. The all-female pay-per-view event will also feature fellow Olympic medalist Marlen Esparza and 2019 World Champion Danielle Perkins competing in separate bouts.

Returning to the ring during women’s history month, the record-breaking Shields is fighting for recognition not only for herself but for also all the female boxers across the world seeking respect and equality. She is hoping that by taking career in to her hands with this ground-breaking PPV event, she will show female athletes of every age and level that they have value and fan bases of their own.

She can add yet another piece of history to her resume with a victory on Friday, becoming the only boxer, male or female, to become undisputed in two weight divisions in the four-belt era.

Celebrating women’s sports and dedicated to International Women’s Day, “SUPERWOMEN: SHIELDS VS. DICAIRE” will be broadcast live viaInDemand to the major cable, satellite and telco outlets, as well as on livestreaming platform FITE.TV(9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT) from theDort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan, for the price of just $29.95.

Shields, Esparza and Perkins hope that their USA Boxing family will support them and this important event. To purchase the pay-per-view on FITE TV, click here.
