2021 Junior Pan American Games Qualifier Concludes in Mexico

The 2021 Junior Pan American Games Qualifier concluded today in Guadalajara, Mexico, where Team USA grabbed five gold and three silver medals to add to their two bronze medals from yesterday. 

The Americans saw victories from five of the eight boxers competing in todays finals, Julius Ballo (Santee, Calif.), Kayla Gomez (El Paso, Texas), Joe Iriarte (Bakersfield, Calif.), Steven Navarro (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Jewry Rodriguez (Houston, Texas), stand atop the podium. Ali Feliz (Danbury, Conn.), Jesikah Guerra (Victorville, Calif.) and Faith Mendez (Ocala, Fla.) fell short of taking victories, but earned silver medals to conclude their tournament. 

Team USA was lead by Chadrick Wigle (Surf City, N.C.) and assistant coaches Adonis Frazier (Minneapolis, Minn.), Edward Ochoa (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Nora Trujillo (Richmond, Texas), while Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.) served as team manager.
