Next USA Boxing Alumni Association Event Scheduled for July 23 in Deer Lake, Pa.

The USA Boxing Alumni Association is happy to announce their next event, July 23, in Deer Lake, Pa, at Fighter’s Heaven, the former Muhammad Ali training campground.
“We’re excited to host a USA Boxing Alumni event at Fighter’s Heaven and have many of its members and guests come to the camp,” stated Mick Stefanek The day will give everyone an opportunity to see and experience what it was like when Muhammad Ali trained here. It’s going to be a day of fun and fellowship at Fighter’s Heaven!
The event, which is open to all USA Boxing alumni, begins at 12:00 p.m. ET and will be a free event for those that attend.
“I am super excited for this event. When I was a kid, I had always thought that all training camps for boxers were like his but after having been a professional boxer and now a trainer, I realized that Ali was unique, said John “Iceman” Scully. “A ‘training camp’ is generally a bunch of guys in a hotel going to a nearby gym every day but Ali actually had a camp, the ‘greatest camp of all times’ really. I'm very excited for so many former amateurs who followed Ali's steps see where he trained for many of the biggest fights of his career.
