by Brian Taylor, USA Boxing

12 boxers from across the country arrived in Colorado Springs, Colo. yesterday for the upcoming Elite High Performance Replacement Camp at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center. A full roster can be seen below.

The boxers will be evaluated by USA Boxing High Performance Staff to fill vacant positions in six different weight categories for the Elite High Performance Team and High Performance Squad for the remainder of 2023.

USA Boxing will be evaluating the women’s 54 kg weight category to fill both the vacant HP Team and HP Squad positions to replace a former team members who were removed due to disciplinary actions in 2023. The remaining five weight classes will be filling HP Squad positions, which are currently vacant due to previous boxers not meeting the minimum evaluation score requirements, as per USA Boxing’s elite team selection procedures.
