The young star from Houston hopes to continue her strong performance in the ring on the international stage as she makes the transition to represent Team USA globally. Perez won gold at the 2022 Youth World Championships and secured bronze in the 2022 USA Boxing Elite National Championships, as well as gold at the 2022 USA Boxing Elite National Qualifier. Perez has now emerged as Team USA's dominant boxer in 2025, having earned a gold and two silvers in the United States' three international tournaments.
