I have been an official with the south Atlantic association since 2010 taking on position as registration chair 2013 where I pretty much kept things going and improving knowledge of our officials. I started going to the nationals in 2015 where I won the ring award as a referee at the golden gloves tournament then becoming a level 111 the following year. I took over as COO in 2020 constantly helping SAA officials with there refereeing and judging capabilities. I have gotten older and am retired so its time let the younger officials keep that same energy. I want to still want to be there to help the association when needed

Hello, I have been a dedicated USA Boxing Member since 2012. I manage the Knowledge Boxing Center and coach scores of amateur boxers. I have already served as Registration Chair on the existing Board. I am running for Treasurer now as my professional experience as a Business Financial Manager for the DoD ties directly with that position. I also have a degree in Business Management from Morgan State University.
Chief of Officials#
Winner by Acclamation (Ran unopposed)
I am applying for the Chief of Officials position because I believe the boxers deserve the absolute best officials we can offer them and as Chief of Officials I can share my experience of more than 20 years as a boxer, coach and official with all of the officials in the South Atlantic LBC and neighboring LBC's that attend our shows and clinics.
I know I will excel at this position because I am an effective communicator, active listener and I'm willing and able to work with people to develop their strengths and identify their weaknesses while also offering encouragement and praise for a job well done.
I am a level II official, USAB clinician, Certified OIC, USAB Equipment Manager and I attend several USAB National tournaments per year as well as Silver Glove and Golden Gloves National tournaments. I am active in my LBC and make it a point to get to know the officials, boxers and coaches in my LBC on a personal level.
I also dedicate time to learning from and mentoring with more experienced officials so that I can continue to grow into a better referee and judge.
