I've been involved in Boxing over 50 years so I've been on both sides a fighter and Coach. Making a difference in these young women and men has been my gold. I also have my own Boxing Club so I see things first hand. I think we have a long way since I've been President and we still have a ways to go.

I have served as a volunteer official and coach for the Southern Association of USA Boxing since 2005 and as Chief of Officials for more than 10 years. I have been trained as a Level I, II and III official (currently holding a Level II certification) and am the only Master Level official in the Southern Association. I am also a trained and certified R/J Clinician and Official in Charge.
I have officiated at all levels - local, regional and national - and served in all capacities.
I have served, and continue to serve, as a volunteer coach with the Crowley Boxing Club, training boxers free of charge for approximately 18 years.
I am passionate about the sport of boxing and committed to the ongoing development and promotion of amateur boxing.
I understand that the safety of the boxers is paramount and that well-trained and experienced officials are necessary for that. I will continue to recruit new officials and work to retain existing officials, offering frequent trainings throughout the year and emphasizing the rules and regulations of USA Boxing as they pertain to the safety of the boxers.
