Boxing became my life in 2015 after my dad passed away. Since the moment I walked into the gym I knew this sport was going to be a life long love. Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher, it is something that comes natural to me. It is also a deep passion of mine. When I realized the love I have for this sport, it was only fitting that I helped others achieve their dreams. I quickly started officiating, and started helping with the day to day needs at my local gym. Additionally, I assisted in countless fundraisers. I graduated in 2017 from the University of Wyoming with a dual Bachelors Degree in history and secondary education. Since 2015, boxing has continued to run parallel with my life. I am currently on my 6th year of teaching, and any teacher knows that you need to be willing to change, learn, and grow if you want to be the best educator that you can be. So, just like in my professional life, I am working towards learning, changing and growing in the boxing world. Recently I became a coach and am taking the chance to perfect that opportunity daily. Being on the LBC board would further help me grow within this sport I fell in love with so many years ago. I can continue to help the youth achieve their dreams, continue to grow as an educator and evolve from the experiences I have within the community.

I have been a volunteer for USA Boxing, National PAL, Casper Boxing Club as well as other non-profit organizations for years and I have the experience necessary for the position and feel that I am the best candidate to represent the state of Wyoming.
