Sanctuary Boxing Club's Katie Kerecz takes part in USA Boxing women's championships #
Last summer, Sanctuary Boxing Club in New Kensington took five female boxers to a national competition in Kansas.
Katie Kerecz, 12, returned to the national stage last month, this time for the first USA Boxing women’s championships.

Boxers set to enter ring for Warriors #
Griffin Hart has competed in many local boxing events, but never in Ring Around the Warrior, an annual outdoor boxing night held in the parking lot at St. Cajetan Elementary School.
This year, he’ll step into the ring, ready to showcase all the skills he has developed in four years of training.

Beth Smoke, 13-Year Old Mohawk Wins USA Boxing Women's Championship #
Elizabeth Harris-Smoke, popularly known as Beth Smoke, hailing from the Six Nations Mohawk, Wolf Clan, recently won the USA Boxing Women's Championship in the 176+ pound category. At the tender age of 13, a bright future in the sport beckons her.

Lockhart wins recent matches #
Sakora Lockhart brought home the gold from the 2023 USA Boxing Women’s Championships.
Lockhart, currently ranked eighth at 132 pounds (60 kg), won the USA Boxing Youth Female title in her weight class July 27 in Toledo.
