TROUP, Texas (KETK) — Kandice Vascocu, owner of the Troup Boxing Gym, said she is preparing the number one fighter in the 147 pound division for an Olympic qualifying bid this December.

CARTHAGE, Texas (KSLA) - For Hispanic Heritage Month, KSLA is honoring an amazing boxing athlete who is part of a youth team for USA Boxing.

Sindi Salazar, 18, is a boxing athlete who just graduated from Carthage High School. She has been boxing for eight years and has won three national titles and also has three Texas women’s championships. On top of that, she is a youth team USA member for USA boxing.

FOREST PARK, Ga. - Tucked away in a small boxing gym in Forest Park are some young boxers who are all making a name for themselves. In the last few months, the boys have won big some big titles nationally.
