Important Notice Regarding USA Boxing 2024 National Championships & 2025 Elite High Performance Team Selection
In anticipation of World Boxing adapting its weight categories in 2025, USA Boxing is sending this letter to provide the membership with an update on weight categories that will be contested at the 2024 USA Boxing National Championships, in addition to the weight categories that will advance to the evaluation stage of team selection of its 2025 Elite High Performance Team.
The new weight classes outlined below are specific to the Elite and Youth divisions.
The following weight divisions will be contested at the 2024 USA Boxing National Championships in both the Elite and Youth/U19 age divisions:

Important Notice for 2025 Elite Team Selection: USA Boxing will only be considering athletes who compete at the 2024 Elite National Championships in projected Olympic weight divisions to advance to the second stage of Team Selection for 2025. The full 2025 Elite High Performance Team Selection Procedures will be announced and posted to usaboxing.org in October 2025.
