The 2026 USA Boxing Youth High Performance Selection Camp has begun following the arrival of 17 athletes at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (USOPTC) in Colorado Springs, Colo. The USA Boxing High Performance department will evaluate the 17 boxers in attendance at the camp from Monday, Feb. 16, through Wednesday, March 4.
The champions in 17 weight classes, nine males and eight females, from the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships were invited to the USOPTC for the Selection Camp and will contend for a spot on the 2026 Youth High Performance Team. Of the 17 weight classes being evaluated throughout the camp, 13 are currently designated as Olympic weight classes. However, all 17 athletes will be evaluated for a position on this year’s team, with the opportunity to represent the United States in international competition.
Upon the conclusion of the 2026 USA Boxing Youth High Performance Selection Camp, boxers who are named to the 2026 Youth High Performance roster will immediately travel to Bangkok, Thailand, for the World Boxing Futures Cup. Competition at the World Boxing Futures Cup will take place March 8-15, and will serve as a mandatory qualifying event for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
