Recently, USA Boxing concluded the 2025 National Championships in Lubbock, Texas. Following the final USA Boxing national event of 2025, the roster for the 2026 USA Boxing Elite High Performance Selection Camp was determined. The USA Boxing High Performance department will invite the top two athletes from each Olympic weight class within the Elite division, and evaluate each athlete against a set of criteria over the course of a month at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Team USA officially announced this Selection Camp roster on Thursday, January 8, highlighting a month-long camp, staged from January 11 to February 11, which will determine the 2026 USA Boxing Elite High Performance roster. In total, there are 33 boxers across 14 weight classes, seven men’s weight classes and seven women’s weight classes.

The full roster of boxers in attendance, broken down by weight class, is listed below. In addition to the 28 boxers joining the camp after finishing within the top two at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships, five team members from the 2025 Elite High Performance team will also convene in Colorado Springs for the month-long evaluation period.

The USA Boxing Elite High Performance team will compete in multiple international events throughout 2026, in preparation for Olympic qualifier events in 2027 and 2028. Among the attendees for the 2026 USA Boxing Elite Selection Camp are five 2025 Youth gold medalists, who made the jump to the Elite division in December, including Joseph Awinongya (Joliet, Ill.), Lavant Brownlee (Louisville, Ky.), Salim Ellis-Bey (Philadelphia, Pa), Lorenzo Patricio (Waianae, Hawaii), and Nnajai Wright (Richmond, Va.).

Among other boxers in attendance for the camp is 2025 World Boxing Championship silver medalist Yoseline Perez (Houston, Texas). Additionally, three Paris 2024 Olympians will also join the camp, including Jennifer Lozano (Laredo, Texas), Alyssa Mendoza (Caldwell, Idaho) and Morelle McCane (Cleveland, Ohio). Robby “Rahim” Gonzales, a 2021 World Champion, will also join the camp after collecting two medals on the international stage in 2025. Kelvin Watts, the 2025 USA Boxing Male Elite High Performance super heavyweight team member, will also join the selection camp after earning two medals last year.

USA Boxing head coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will oversee the selection camp and will be assisted by his staff, including Elite assistant coach and National Junior & Youth Head Coach Edward Fonteneaux (Fayetteville, N.C.). Nikki Burleson (Oklahoma City, Okla.) will also join the coaching staff as a Developmental coach. Volunteer Coaches for the camp include William Rafalko (Philadelphia, Pa.), Alex Love (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Jeffrey Nimo (Grand Prairie, Texas) and Vladimir Oleinikov (Lithia, Fla.).
