USA Boxing Qualifies 13 to First Junior Pan American Games

Following the Junior Pan American Games Qualifier last month, USA Boxing has confirmed the qualification of all 13 boxers to the first ever Junior Pan American Games, scheduled for Nov. 25 - Dec. 5 in Cali, Colombia, with boxing taking place Nov. 26 – Dec. 1.
Boxers had to finish top 8 at the Junior Pan American Games Qualifier in order to secure his or her spot to compete in the inaugural event, which is expected to bring over 3,000 athletes from more than 25 different sports.
Team USA finished the Junior Pan American Games Qualifier with five gold (Julius Ballo, Kayla Gomez, Joel Iriarte, Steven Navarro and Jewry Rodriguez), three silver (Ali Feliz, Jeskiah Guerra and Faith Mendez) and two bronze medals (Sativa James and Donte Layne).
