Youth High Performance Team Members Arrive in Colorado Springs Today for Training Camp

13 members of the 2021 USA Boxing Youth High Performance Team begin arriving to Colorado Springs, Colo. today for training camp to prepare for the 2021 Junior Pan American Games Qualifier, set to take place July 13-18 in Guadalajara, Mexico. A full camp roster can be seen below. 
Chadrick Wigle (Surf City, N.C.) will serve as the teams head coach during the training camp and competition, while assistant coaches Adonis Frazier (Minneapolis, Minn.), Edward Ochoa (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Nora Trujillo (Richmond, Texas)  will attend both training camp and competition, while Michael Lugo (Marietta, Ga.) and Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.) will serve as assistant coaches during the training camp. Derrick Raedel (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will serve as team manager during the training camp and competition. 

The Junior Pan American Games Qualifier serves as the qualifying tournament for the first ever Junior Pan American Games, which is scheduled to be held Nov. 25-Dec. 5 in Cali, Colombia. Boxers must finish top 8 in Guadalajara to secure their place in Cali.
