These championships, which will take place at the Shreveport Convention Center through April 3, is expected to bring over 1,300 boxers, 800 coaches and 100 officials to the Louisiana city to compete for one of 125 national titles that are up for grabs.

USA Boxing has placed numerous COVID-19 protocols, including proof of negative PCR COVID-19 test prior to event, numerous testing for boxers and officials during the tournament, as well as partnering with LSU Health Shreveport.

“We are extremely excited to have our USA Boxing members return to the national stage in the city of Shreveport,” stated Mike McAtee, USA Boxing Executive Director. “This event is taking place because of the numerous hours of hard work from our Local Boxing Committees (LBC), who have held over 100 boxing events since July 11,2020 and provided valuable lessons learned regarding COVID mitigation, USA Boxing National Office, the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission, LSU Health Shreveport, and all our members attending the tournament.”

USA Boxing will provide a free livestream for every session on the event website here, beginning with a 30-minute pre-show daily to kick off each day of competition which will include interviews with boxers and inside look into that day’s bouts.
