2022 Elite High Performance Team Announced

USA Boxing announced today the 13 boxers selected to the 2022 Elite High Performance Team and will represent Team USA at international tournaments throughout the year, including the upcoming 2022 AMBC Elite Championships and the 2022 Elite Women’s World Championships.
The team is headlined by 2020 Olympians Rashida Ellis (Lynn, Mass.) and Naomi Graham (Fayetteville, N.C.), as well as 2021 Elite Men’s World Champions Rahim Gonzales (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Jahmal Harvey (Oxon Hill, Md.).
The remaining four members of the women’s team include 2021 Elite National Champions Jajaira Gonzalez (Glendora, Calif.), Morelle McCane (Cleveland, Ohio) and Amelia Moore (Colorado Springs, Colo.), as well as 2020 Elite National Champion Shera Mae Patricio (Waianae, Hawaii). All four boxers, as well as Ellis, Graham and Arika Skoog (Boston, Mass.) will compete later this year in Istanbul, Turkey at the Elite Women’s World Championships.
Rounding out the men’s team are 2021 Elite Men’s World Championships silver medalists Roscoe Hill (Spring, Texas) and Omari Jones (Orlando, Fla.), 2021 Elite Men’s World championships team member Jamar Talley (Camden, N.J.), as well as 2021 Elite National Champions Joshua Edwards (Houston, Texas) and Emilio Garcia (Laredo, Texas).
Boxers will return to the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. later this month for their final preparation for the AMBC Elite Championships in Guayaquil, Ecuador, scheduled for March 22 – April 2.
