Apply for the USA Boxing Thomas “Sarge” Johnson Scholarship Foundation Today

The USA Boxing Foundation Thomas “Sarge” Johnson Scholarship application is now officially open! The USA Boxing Foundation Scholarship is for current college students only that have completed at least one semester of a post-secondary program, as well as a current USA Boxing member and member during two of the last three years and competed in at least 2 sanctioned bouts this year and 2 bouts in two of the last three preceding calendar years.
Applying does not mean you will be granted a scholarship. The following number of scholarships are typically awarded; however, the foundation has been known to increase the number and amount of the awards based on available funding:
2 trade school awards for $2,000 each
7 undergraduate awards for $3,000 each
2 graduate level awards for $2,500 each

The application must be completed and attachments submitted to Cam Thompson at cthompson@usaboxing.org no later than June 1st. Checks will go out to each college in late July and can be used this fall, spring or summer semesters.
