Alyssa Mendoza competed at the 2024 Olympic Games, where she finished 1-1 after falling in the quarterfinals of her bracket. She is one of Team USA’s youngest rising stars and recently represented Team USA at 57 kg in Paris as she competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Mendoza, 21, has dominated in her first couple years of international competition bringing home a medal in three international competitions in 2023. Mendoza, native of Caldwell, Idaho, also won gold at the 2022 USA Boxing Elite National Championships and is the first Olympic boxer from Idaho.
