USA Boxing and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists “Coaching You Up” program to offer Flu and Coronavirus Vaccines in Lafayette, La.
USA Boxing and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP)’s joint “Coaching You Up” program will be providing flu and coronavirus vaccines at the upcoming 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Boxing and 2023 USA Boxing National Championships at the CAJUNDOME in Lafayette, La.
This will be the fourth national event where USA Boxing and ASCP will work hand-to-hand and promote healthy living, education, and provide vaccinations free of charge for the local communities. The Coaching You Up staff will be on-site in Lafayette all week answering questions and providing vaccine education in English and Spanish.
“We are excited to provide our members, as well as the people in the community of Lafayette the opportunity to earn valuable education regarding the flu and COVID vaccines, as well as the opportunity to receive free vaccines to continue promoting healthy living inside and outside the ring,” stated Mike McAtee, USA Boxing Executive Director.
Coaching You Up is a program that will provide anyone in Lafayette an opportunity to get up-to-date information on routine fall vaccines and get both Flu and COVID vaccines on the spot.
USA Boxing encourages everyone attending these two events to stop by the Coaching You UP booth to speak with the staff and gain knowledge on the vaccines. Please bring your insurance card or snap a picture of the front and back before arriving. There is no charge for the flu and coronavirus vaccines. However, if you have Medicare or private insurance, bring your insurance card for authorization on eligibility and coverage.
