NCBA Election Update

Per the USA Boxing LBC and National Collegiate Boxing Association (LBC#60/NCBA)’s election policy, candidates for the LBC #60/NCBA officer positions were vetted to meet the criteria listed in the LBC Bylaws, which can be found on the USA Boxing website (see link below).

Following the criteria, some candidates were deemed ineligible to run for office.  Therefore, the below listed candidates have been elected NCBA officers by acclamation:

• Olivia Meyer, President
• George Chamberlain, Vice President
• Meiya Berkey, Treasurer
• Michael Campisano, Secretary
• Renard (Ray) Barone, Chief of Officials

There will however be an election for NCBA’s three (3) Athlete Representatives.  There are eight (8) eligible athlete representative candidates on the ballot.  The candidate names and bios are also posted on the website.

As outlined in the LBC Bylaws, ONLY ELIGIBLE ATHLETES VOTE FOR ATHLETE REPRESENTATIVES.   These eligible athlete voters will receive an instruction email from USA Boxing on April 1, 2024 and a ballot from Simply Voting, a third party company, on April 2, 2024.  Voting will take place April 2-9, 2024 through Simply Voting.
