Team USA Elite Camp Begins In Preparation For USA vs Canada Duel

The first High Performance training camp after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is underway at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Full camp roster can be seen below. 


The training camp will be led by USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and will run through Sunday, Sept. 22.  Coach Walsh will be assisted throughout the training camp by National Resident Coach Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.), as well as assistant coaches Blanca Gutierrez (Pacifica, Calif.) and Danilo Garcia (Oakland, Calif.) 


Five Boxers will travel to Winnipeg, Canada, to compete in a duel against Canada in the Mele Gala IX.  Dustin Jimenez will make his international debut, competing in the 63.5 kg weight class, whereas Lisa Greer, Keon Davis and Francis Stewart will each make their second international appearance. Davis won silver at the 2024 USA Boxing International Invitational, while Greer and Stewart each earned bronze at the Invitational. Follow USA Boxing on social media for a look inside the training camp.

63.5 kg: Dustin Jimenez, Rochester, N.Y.
