USA Boxing’s Elite High Performance Squad is traveling to Helsinki, Finland, for its first international tournament of the year. USA Boxing is offering two international opportunities for the Elite Squad, beginning with this competition in Finland, followed by a tournament in Colombia in May.

USA Boxing will send eight boxers to the 2026 GeeBee Boxing Tournament, including five men and three women. Of the eight boxers slated to compete in Finland, six will represent Team USA for the first time on the international stage.

On the men’s roster, Nnajai Wright (90+ kilograms) returns to international competition after earning four wins for a gold medal with the USA Boxing Youth High Performance Team at the 2025 Brandenburg Cup in Germany. Dustin Jimenez (65 kilograms) also returns to international competition for Team USA after competing at the 2025 World Boxing Cup: Brazil last year.

Joining Wright and Jimenez on the men’s roster are Moises Rodriguez (55 kilograms), Yahir Diaz-Martinez (60 kilograms) and Kentrell Rouser (70 kilograms). Rodriguez and Diaz-Martinez concluded their 2025 campaigns as runners-up at the 2025 USA Boxing National Championships in Lubbock, Texas. Rouser recently secured a first-place finish at the 2026 USA Boxing International Open in Pueblo, Colo., before earning an invitation to the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

As for the United States’ women’s roster, Jayshannet Zapata (54 kilograms), Deborah Grant (57 kilograms) and Alexis Proctor (65 kilograms) will each make their international debuts in Finland.

Throughout the competition at the 2026 GeeBee Boxing Tournament, the United States will be led by USA Boxing’s National Development Coach Edward Fonteneaux (Fayetteville, N.C.), and assisted by Holly Gregson (Idaho Falls, Idaho), Billy Rafalko (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Ronald Wright (Columbus, Ga.).
