Due to the expected large number of boxers interested in competing at this event, there will be a quota for each weight class. Once that quota is met, boxers will be added to a waitlist. The waitlist will be updated between June 15-21. No waitlist updates will be provided prior to June 15.

Once registered, boxers needing to change weight classes will be allowed to do so only between May 25-June 14, and only one weight change will be allowed per boxer.

Boxers who register have until May 24 to request a refund if they no longer can make the tournament, while boxers who wish to cancel their registration between May 25 – June 21 will have their registration fee transferred to a future event by notifying USA Boxing National Office. Boxers that do not notify USA Boxing will not be eligible for a refund or a transfer.

COVID-19 protocols for this event will be announced in the coming weeks, as USA Boxing will continue to track local and national guidelines to make the best regulations possible to hold a safe event.

Additional host hotel information, as well as tentative schedule and other tournament information will be released in the coming weeks on the event page here.

This will mark the 49th edition of the National Junior Olympics and will be the first USA Boxing national tournament hosted in Texas since the 2016 National Junior Olympics were held in Dallas to record numbers.

The tournament will be the sixth year the Prep National Championships have been held in conjunction with the event and the fifth year for the Youth Open.
