USA Boxing announced today the weight classes that will be contested in Shreveport this December, as well as the minimum bout requirements to compete in the 2021 USA Boxing National Championships.

With the recent weight class changes for international competition in the youth and elite divisions, USA Boxing will be contesting the updated 13 men and 12 women weight classes, while the other divisions (bantam, intermediate and junior) will continue to be the same weights that have been previously contested. A complete breakdown of youth and elite weight classes, as well as the minimum bout requirements for those divisions can be seen below. These 13 and 12 weight classes will go into effect at these National Championships and in 2022 at the local level.

Minimum bout requirements will be verified in MatchTracker, including legacy bouts. Boxers that have missing bouts in their MatchTracker can submit their missing bout information here.
