USA Boxing High Performance department announced updates to their 2022 Elite High Performance Selection Procedures, as well as for the youth and junior divisions. Below are important updates for our members attending the 2021 National Championships.
Elite Division
The elite division selection procedures have been updated here. Most importantly to note, the following table details how many boxers will advance from the National Championships into the Elite Team Evaluation and Selection Camp in January:

Youth Division
The youth division selection procedures have been posted here. Like the elite division, only boxers from the 2021 National Championships in the projected Olympic weight classes (7 men, 6 women) will be guaranteed an invite to the 2022 Youth High Performance Team Athlete Selection process. Junior Division
As of November 2021, USA Boxing will not be participating in any junior high performance training camps or international competitions in 2022. However, boxers who win the Junior National Championships, taking place December 6-11, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana, will be eligible to be selected as USA Boxing Development Squad boxers and participate in 2022 Youth National Team training camps, based on the evaluation and discretion of USA Boxing High Performance coaching staff.
USA Boxing Development Squad
Like the junior division, additional youth and elite boxers competing in the 2021 National Championships will be eligible to be selected as USA Boxing Development Squad boxers, allowing them to participate in select training camps throughout the year. These boxers are invited based on the evaluation and discretion of USA Boxing High Performance coaching staff.
