USA Boxing Foundation Adds Two New Board Members
by USA Boxing
The USA Boxing Foundation announced today two new members that have joined its Board: Todd Wadler, CEO of TITLE Boxing Club, and co-founder of BoxUnion; and Ike Belk, co-founder, and owner of the United State Performance Center. The two join a board focused on advancing the Foundation and its efforts to support the sport of USA Boxing and its member boxers.
Todd Wadler brings a love of both fitness and the sport of boxing as well as entrepreneurial know-how to his role on the USABF Board. In 2016 he founded BoxUnion, a multi-unit and digital fitness boxing brand. With BoxUnion, Todd has innovated the fitness boxing category while growing the company with operational excellence. In 2021 BoxUnion acquired TITLE Boxing Club to become the biggest omni-channel brand in the global fitness boxing market. Prior to BoxUnion, Todd was a Founding Partner of Moelis & Company, a leading global independent investment bank and asset management firm. With over 25 years of experience advising public and private companies across industries, Todd brings a passion for fitness, industry knowledge and a desire to help empower business owners.
Ike Belk brings to the USABF Board a long legacy of indelible Olympic spirit and world-class amateur sports excellence which started with his grandfather, who was instrumental in the United States Olympic and Paralympic Movement since 1936. Half a century later, Ike continues the Belk family commitment to ensuring the United States remain at the forefront of athletic competition and human performance innovation -- the very priorities that have driven his dedication to the United States Performance Center. Ike’s intuition has been instrumental in bringing the USPC to Kannapolis, not merely as another Olympic outpost similar to existing facilities but as a single collaborative community.
“We have been gifted two incredibly talented business leaders in Todd and in Ike, said Ed Reiner, Chairman of the Board of the USA Boxing Foundation. “But what makes these two gentlemen even more exceptional additions to our board is their passion for advancing the sport. Their commitment to excellence for USA Boxing makes me excited to get to work and see what we can achieve with these two at the table.”
Wadler and Belk join an impressive group of business and fitness professionals, who are seeking to add two additional individuals to help round out the board. The Board supports the work of USA Boxing Foundation and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. As an organization without staff, Board members provide the support to execute USABF’s mission while at the same time providing the guidance and leadership to move the organization forward.
USA Boxing Foundation’s mission is to advance boxing as the sport of opportunity, providing the environment, tools, training, and support to set our boxers on a better course for life. Through programming, scholarships, and grants, the Foundation is committed to supporting boxers at every level of the sport investing in today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders. Whether it is a scholarship, the search for a better life, or a dream to one day stand on the Olympic Podium, USA Boxing Foundation supports our boxers' hopes for something bigger.
