2022 USA Boxing National Championships Elite Men’s Seedings Announced

USA Boxing announced today the seedings for those men competing in one of the seven Olympic weight categories in the elite division. Full seeding can be seen below.

Seedings are determined by the below criteria.

  1. Medalist at an Elite World Championships
  2. Top 8 at an IBA Elite World Championships
  3. Medalist at an AMBC Elite Continental Championships or Pan American Games
  4. High Performance Squad Member
  5. Medalist at a Youth World Championships
  6. Medalist at a Youth Pan American Games or Youth Continental Championships
  7. Medalist at 2021 USA Boxing Elite National Championships
  8. 2022 Youth High Performance Team Member
  9. 2022 National Qualifier Champion in an Olympic weight category
  10. 2022 Summer Festival Champion in an Olympic weight category

Each weight category will have up to four boxers seeded that meet the above criteria and is subject to change following check-in after any boxers that are currently seeded pull out of the tournament.
